Privacy policy

Effective September 10, 2026

Parenting Specialists is a parent coaching service powered by Coral Care, Inc. (“Coral Care,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through parentingspecialists.com and the coaching sessions booked through it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using this site or booking a session, you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, please don't submit your information or book a session.

This policy covers this coaching site only. If your family later begins in-person evaluation or treatment with Coral Care directly, that separate relationship is covered by Coral Care's own privacy policy at coralcare.com/privacy-policy.

Information we collect

Contact information you give us: your name, email address, and phone number when you book a session through our signup form.

Information about your child: general information you choose to share about your child, such as age and the concerns you want to discuss, used only to prepare your coach for your session.

Session notes: a written summary your coach prepares after each session, covering what you discussed and any plan or recommendations. These are coaching notes, not a medical or clinical record.

Payment information: if you pay by card, our payment processor collects your billing details. We don't store full card numbers ourselves.

Site and device information: standard technical information, such as browser type, device, and general location, collected automatically when you visit our site, along with cookies used for basic site function and analytics.

How we use it

We use this information to schedule and deliver your coaching sessions, match you with a coach, send you your session notes and receipts, respond to questions, process payment, and improve the service. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run the service: with your assigned coach, with the payment processor that handles checkout, with service providers who help us operate the site (such as scheduling and email tools), and when required by law. If our business is ever sold or reorganized, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, under the same protections described here.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you're an active client, and for up to 7 years afterward, in line with standard recordkeeping practice, unless you ask us to delete it sooner and we're not required to keep it for legal reasons.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop using it for anything beyond what's needed to complete a session you've already booked. To do any of this, email privacy@joincoralcare.com.

Cookies

We use basic cookies to keep the site working and to understand how it's used. You can turn cookies off in your browser, though parts of the site may not work as well.

Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmitting or storing data online is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is for parents and caregivers. It isn't directed to children, and children don't create accounts or submit information themselves. Any information about your child that you share with us is shared by you, the parent or legal guardian.

California residents

If you live in California, you can request a list of any third parties we've shared your information with for direct marketing in the past year by emailing privacy@joincoralcare.com with “California Privacy Rights” in the subject line.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll post the update here with a new effective date.
